LIBRARY POLICIES


General Info 
All students are required to have a pass, and must sign in upon entering the library
The library is open every school day from 7:46 to 2:50
Extended hours (3.05pm to 5pm) are available Monday through Thursday through the Library After School Program  
All library patrons are expected to respect the library, its personnel, its patrons and its materials
We strive to contribute to, rather than detract from our learning community
There is no eating in the library
Drinks are not allowed near the computers
 
Borrowing Materials
Students are allowed to borrow up to two books at a time
Loan period is two weeks; a $0.05 fine will be charged for each day a book is overdue
Materials can be renewed
Magazines are for in-library use only

Technology
Computers are available for student use on a first come, first-served basis, unless previously reserved by a class
Scanner and printer are available, with librarian or teacher supervision
lexmark printers allow students to print as needed
Subscription online databses are available for student research from school or from home
Online library catalog allows students to access collection and book information from school or from home
